Reporting to the Head of Marketing your key area of responsibility is to identify new business opportunities by maintaining and developing market and competitor intelligence. The Market Research Analyst will be involved in improving the companies knowledge expertise by developing all aspects of market intelligence and delivering effective information and analysis to benefit the business and its clients. In a world where no 2 clients are the same this requires an individual with creative thinking and innovation. Key tasks of the Market Research Analyst will include conducting market intelligence including knowledge of products/policies and benefits, conducting SWOT analysis on competitors and regular market reviews. You will also be involved in supporting corporate events and client seminars and exhibitions and in the creation of on-line surveys and the interpretation of their results. The ideal Market Research Analyst must be strategic thinking and possess excellent communication, research and analytical skills aligned with at least 2 years previous experience in the life and health insurance industry and in return will receive a alary of c£35k plus bonus plus excellent other benefits including flexi-time.
